The area covered by this brochure contains a number of places of interest we recommend you consider visiting. Places of interest in Pittwater are dominated by the region’s natural features. These include magnificent headlands and beaches from Barrenjoey to Narrabeen, and West Head in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
There are wonderful views of Pittwater from Barrenjoey, Snapperman and Clareville beaches, and from Winnererremy Bay and Church Point. There are many parks and reserves including Hordern, McKay, Angophora and Crown of Newport. All the above feature on the walks.
Ku-ring-gai Chase is a significant National Park with walking tracks and the Basin picnic and campground. See www.environment.nsw.gov.au and click on ‘Visiting a park’.
